JZFZ Chairman Met with SA&D Visiting Group

In the afternoon, December 7, 2020, a cordial exchange took place between the visiting group from School of Architecture and Design (SA&D) of Southwest Jiaotong University and senior officials of JZFZ, a topnotch architectural design company headquartered in Chengdu. Members of SA&D included Executive President Sheng Zhongwei, Associate Dean Cui xu, Associate Dean Yang Qingjuan, Dean of the Department of Architecture Zhang Yingzi and Secretary of the Party Branch Fu Fei; while Chairman Zhong Ming, Senior Director Li Liang, Vice General Manager Zhang Jing, Vice Chief Architect Li Shihong, Vice Director of the Department of Human Resource and Administrative Management Center Ma Juan were from JZFZ.

In the meeting, Executive President Sheng Zhongwei said, building on years of cooperation, the SA&D and JZFZ continued to explore more patterns of cooperation and tap into more industry resource in multi-dimensions, which was of great significance to joint talent cultivation and disciplinary construction. Chairman Zhong Ming acknowledged that the discipline of architecture of SWJTU was a leader of its kind in China, and its graduates were practical, innovative, professionally competent, and ambitious.

Both sides agreed that this meeting would provide new opportunities for multi-dimensional school-enterprise cooperation, and they hoped SWJTU-JZFZ cooperation would fuel the development of such key social areas as rural revitalization, urban renewal and the building of park cities. Both sides would follow the spirit of ethics in mind, show excellence in action, and continue to deepen strategic partnership to create a better future.

After the meeting, the visiting group attended the JDC-JZFZ 2020 International College Student Architecture Design Exhibition and visited the JZFZ Chengdu Innovative Center.
